Full Description
June 1981. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"17th century timber-frame house, plastered. Steep slate roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys. Three widely spaced windows. 19th century and modern casements."

Upper Vaunce's Farm was part of the 500 acres bought by the Admiralty in 1912 to create an Air Station for Air Ships for the protection of shipping lanes along the east coast in preparation for World War One. See (S3).
