Late 18th to early 19th century house, brick, four bays, two storeys on facade with central bays slightly projecting, and columned porch. Long rear extention with flint end bay. In early 20th century this house contained Thomas Barton's Museum, later sold off: provenanced items are recorded under their sites but many were unprovenanced, and might be found in the grounds.
