Full Description
December 1983. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former blacksmith's cottage. Dating to around 1700 and later. Rendered timber frame with pantiled roof. One storey with attic. Fenestration probably original with leaded lights, metal casements and same original fittings. Three gabled dormers. Added staged external chimneystack to west gable-end. 18th century brick east gable-end with tumbling-in."

Blacksmiths forge remain. Clay lump on brick plinth, earthen floor and well preserved timbers. Bellows from forge preserved by owner.
