Summary

A former Lodge of about 1800 and later, of colourwashed brick with a thatched roof. It is T-shaped in plan, one and a half storey high, with a 20th century single storey extension to the west. It is possibly a 'Cottage Ornee' associated with Humphry Repton's first commission for the design of the park at Catton Hall.
