April 1987. Building Survey.
Two-storey, L-shaped building of brick and flint rubble with brick dressings. Pantile roof. Rendered ?brick. Single-storey lean-to extension along the whole north side. The north-to-south aligned block probably dates to between 1580 and 1630. The east-to-west block was most likely a later addition, although it shares many of the characteristics of the first, suggesting they were probably fairly close in date. In the 18th century an extension was built on the northern side of the house, possibly to house a dairy and scullery.
See report (S3) for further details and floor plan.
