Summary

A two storey brick Baptist Chapel of 1824 with a pantiled roof. A pair of Doric columns supporting an Ionic architrave form the porch. Inside, there is dado panelling on both levels and gallery of 1847 on three sides, supported on thin timber pillars. The immersible font and bench seating were installed during a restoration of 1887.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Baptist chapel. 1824. Brick with gabled pantile roof. Two storeys. Pair of modified Doric columns on plinths support Ionic architrave to form porch. One sash window left and right and three to first floor, all with glazing bars. Lunette above inscribed BAPTIST CHAPEL 1699. Interior with dado panelling."
