Summary

A late 18th and early 19th century flint and brick house built in a double pile. The rear range is the 18th century part, the front range having a date plaque of 1801.

March 1983. Listed, Grade II.
House. Late 18th and early 19th century. Flint with brick facings and tiled roof. Two storeys and attic. Double pile plan. Late 18th century range to rear, front range dated G.E.R. 1801 on plate. Street front has 19th century timber and brick porch. Remains of early 19th century casement to right, otherwise all windows are late 19th century plate glass with painted brick surrounds. Dentiled eaves cornice. Ridge stack right of centre and north gable stack. Garden façade with two doorways and tripartite bay window to left combining one sash and two casements. Glazing bars intact. Four-light window on first floor right is 18th century, remainder are of 19th century. Painted brick surrounds as at front. Two internal gable stacks. Valley between the two ranges is filled with horizontal parapet.
