Listing Description:
Barn. Mid 18th century date. Brick with pantiled roof, wagon entrance to north. North and south walls pierced by ventilation holes in diamond pattern. Gabled roof with parapets and tumbling. Roof of tie beams on arched braces. Collars and three tiers staggered butt purlins, the lower tier with diagonal wind bracing.
Information from (S1).

2001 visit. Brick barn of three steads. Bricks have diagonal skintlings placing them before the 1780s. Central brick threshing floor between cart doors; cart porch on rear door now changed to pentise, other door flanked by later extensions. Midstrey flanked by tiebeams on abruptly-jowled posts and supported on arched braces; in the central underside of each tiebeam is a rectangular socket crossed by peg sockets. Beams also set against gable walls (one removed and replaced by iron rod). Walls of barn have lozenge-shaped ventilation grilles. The roof has been much replaced but there are rows of straight windbraces along the base. A good example of a minor 18th century barn.
