Summary

No 10 was built as a house in the early 19th century, and was converted to a shop in the 20th century. This three-storey building is of rendered and colourwashed red brick, and scored to imitate ashlar. The roof is of mixed red and black-glazed pantiles.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now shop. Early 19th century, converted to shop 20th century. Red brick, rendered, colourwashed and scored to imitate ashlar. Roof of mixed red and black-glazed pantiles. Exterior: three storeys; three-window range. 20th-century plate-glass shop fronts with central entrance...Gabled roof. Rebuilt internal gable-end stacks. Single-storey rear outshut and a late 20th-century single-storey rear extension. Interior: ground floor converted to two retail areas in late 20th century. Part of a very significant group in the Market Place."
