Summary

St Nicholas House was constructed in the mid 18th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It is made from flint with ashlar and brick quoins, although the main façade is of red brick. The building's plan consists of a two storey main block of three irregular bays with a southern extension of two mansard-roofed parallel ranges and a second two-storey extension immediately northwest made of flint and re-used ashlar. A projecting gabled porch is set left of centre.

"St Nicholas House, Minstergate.
