Summary

This public house dates to the early 19th century with mid 20th century alterations. It is built from flint with gault brick dressings to the stable block and a gault brick façade to the Market Place.The rear block is a former stable yard which was entered under a flat carriage arch.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Early 19th century with mid 20th century alterations. Flint with gault brick dressings to stable block, gault brick façade to Market Place. Slate and pantile roofs. Two storeys and dormer attic in three bays. Central glazed door under an open pediment on consoles and a plain fanlight (no glazing bars)."
