Shadwell estate houses. 1870s. Brick with tiled gable roof. 2 storeys. Composition of gables: adjoining pair to left of equal height, large gable to right forming front of cross wing. 2 casements to each gable under pointed segmental gauged heads with spandrels decorated by glazed tiles in diaper. Centre of facade of one storey below swept roof. 20th century doors flank casement. Gabled dormer above. 3 chimneys of 2 or 3 shafts not symmetrically placed.
