Puiblication (S3) cites this building as an example of 'voluntary improvement' overseen by the Paving Commissioners. This house was rebuilt with brown brick and a rounded corner in 1841. The site was previously occupied by a timber framed and jettied building depicted in a etching of 1670 reproduced in (S4) and recorded separately (NHER 63532).
