Summary

Two late 18th century brown brick shops, two storeys high with a dormer attic under a pantile roof. There is an arched passage leading to the rear between the premises. No. 21 has a late 19th century shop front with fluted pilasters and number 23, which is whitewashed, has a 20th century shop front. At the rear are two flat-roofed 20th century extensions.

Two shops. Late 18th century. Brown brick, No.23 whitewashed. Pantile roof. Two storeys and dormer attic. Arched passage to rear between premises. No.21 has late 19th century shopfront with fluted Ionic pilasters right and left. One horned sash to first floor. No.23 has 20th century shopfront and casement to first floor. Dentil eaves cornice to both below gabled roof. Two dormers. Rear has two flat-roofed 20th century extensions.
