Summary

Lovell's Cottage is a mid 18th century house with 19th century additions and alterations. This two storey building has slate roofs and an original 18th century lobby entrance plan. There are a number of two or three-light arched Gothick windows of the late 18th century. The roof is gabled and there is an ogee timber verandah covering the ground floor supported on wrought iron piers, and now with inserted glazing in the roof.

"House. Mid 18th century with early 19th century additions and alterations. Brick with slate roofs. Original 18th century house of lobby entrance plan. Two storeys in three bays, centre bay broken forward. Central door now blocked. Windows to right and left and two to first floor."
