Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now Guest house. c.1840 (shown on map of 1846 but not on one of 1830). Brown brick with slate roofs. Stucco dressings. Three storeys. Present east façade to London Road, south (entrance) front to South Everard Street. East front in two bays. Ground floor with rusticated corner and centre pieces separating two sashes with glazing bars under gauged skewback arches. First floor similar except rusticated elements replaced by thin paired Tuscan pilasters and the sashes become French windows under hoods. Decorated iron balcony rails. Cornice over this floor. Top floor with plain corner and centre pieces separating the smaller sashes. Glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Parapet below hipped roof. South front has a main block to east in three bays, and a two-storey west block also in three bays. Main block entered through double-leaf doors set within doorcase comprising a pair of stucco Tuscan pilasters with two columns in antis, of same order. Simple hood. Windows are sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Two upper window bays to west are blind. Stucco string courses at first and second floors, the former extending into the west block. Ground floor of this of three four-centred wall arches, the eastern two with blind windows, the other with a sash as before. Two first-floor sashes separated by a blind window to first floor. Hipped roof."
