Summary

A late 18th-century two-storey red and brown brick house, now ofiices, with a pale brick façade of seven window bays and an earlier rear wing. In the third bay from the left is a columned doorway with a frieze and pediment. Inside is a late 18th-century staircase lit by a domed skylight.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now offices. Late C18 with earlier rear wing. Gault brick facade on brown and red brick. Machine tile roof. Two-storey façade in seven bays. Panelled and fielded door in third bay (from left) set within panelled reveals. Doorcase of fluted engaged Roman Doric columns carrying a metope frieze and an open pediment. Fenestration of sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Timber eaves cornice below gabled roof. Internal gable-end stack to south and a ridge stack right of centre, both 19th century and corbelled. Mid-18th-century rear cross wing running east from north end of house in two builds defined by different roof lines: both two storeys, mixed fenestration.
INTERIOR. Late 18th-century cantilevered staircase in oval well: two stick balusters per tread, enriched by a roll to each edge. Ramped and wreathed handrail. Domed skylight lights well."
