Visit. September 2013
Description of the small cottage in corner of walled garden as a summer house is not right and it is a fine example of a gardener's cottage. Very finely cut carstone ashlar with smaller blocks for the upper storey. Brick-dressed pointed Gothick windows and door with carstone keystones to the arches. The datestone (1702 RC) is on the east gable of the cottage. Attached to the cottage there is a particularly tall and complete crinkle crankle wall. Another side of a former walled, ot part walled, garden is attached to the other corner of the cottage. Rubble remains of an east wall.
