Summary

The Lodge is an early 19th century farmhouse, with a date of 1818 cut into one brick. This two storey building is of Gault brick with black glazed pantiles, and has three bays with a service wing at the rear. There is a central doorway, and a hipped roof with two off-ridge chimney stacks at the rear. The north and south gables have 20th century bow window bays, and date to around 1965.

"The Lodge.
Farmhouse. Early 19th century, date 1818 cut surreptitiously into one brick. Gault brick, black glazed pantiles. Two storeys, three bays with service wing at rear. Ground floor two round arch headed window sashes with glazing bars under red rubbed brick arches."
