Gunthorpe west view. Farmhouse, 17th century origins with early and mid 19th century details. Brick with red pantiled roof. Two toreys, three bays, double pile plan. Ground floor with two tripartite sash windows with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches. First floor three two-light casements with glazing bars. Part glazed mid 19th century four-centred arched door under two superimposed rubbed brick gothic arches in rectangular frame with battlements. One off- centre stack; at each eaves kneeler, parapet and end stack on diamond section, at west Dutch gable with prominent tripartite diamond pattern stack with a similar stack to gable of rear pile. To west, two bay two storey wing with three bay return. Brick with sashes with glazing bars and flat parapet, early 19th century.
