Summary

The Old Post Cottage was constructed in the late 18th or early 19th century of flint with brick dressings and a roof of red pantiles. This one storey building is arranged in three bays, with a one bay extension at the west and gabled and coped parapets.

Old Post Cottage, The Street.
Cottage. Late 18th century or early 19th century. Walls flint, brick dressings. Roof red pantiles. One storey, attic, three bays, one bay extension at west. Ground floor, four, three and two two-light cast iron casement windows, glazing bars, under cambered rubbed brick arches. Simple brick eaves cornice. Three dormers, two light cast iron casements, glazing bars. Gabled, coped parapets to three bay house and west bay. End stacks to three bay house. Lean-to at east. Central door replaced by window.
