Summary

This row of cottages has a datestone reading 1824. They have flint walls with gault brick dressings and roofs of red pantiles. They are good examples of unaltered Holkham Estate cottages. Numbers 26, 28 and 30 have lean-to porches and outhouses to this front made from flint and pantiles. Number 22 has a single storey north extension constructed from similar materials.

"Row of cottages. Datestone 1824. Walls flint, gault brick dressings. Roof red pantiles. Datestone 'J L 1824 F C'. Unaltered Holkham Estate cottages. Garden front (east): three-light cast iron casements, glazing bars, under cambered rubbed brick arches, quoins. First floor windows, two-light iron casements, glazing bars, wooden lintels."
