Summary

A drainage mill, dating from the later 19th century, with original machinery intact. The mill has the unusual feature of two scoopwheels.

May 1987. Listed, Grade II*.
1986, dates to 1880, boat cap now weatherboarded, with fantail and machinery. All machinery survives including cast iron windshaft, crown wheel and pit wheel; latter drives two external scoop wheels through gearing allowing both high and low ratios, these features are unique. Sails under restoration.
