Summary

This telephone kiosk is of the popular K6 Type, which were originally designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It is of cast iron with a domed roof.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Telephone kiosk. Type K6. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosk with domed roof. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and doors."

July 2021. Minor Amendment to Listing.
The mapped location of this record has been corrected.
When Listed in July 1994, this record was located at TG 01295 27964. This incorrectly placed it east of Rectory Road. It has been moved approximately 19m to the south-west of this point and is now located at TG 01286 27948, The Green, Wood Norton.
