Summary

Samson's Cottage is a two storey 17th century timber-frame house faced in brick during the 20th century. The building has a pantile roof with gabled ends, the west side of which has been rebuilt. The left hand doorway in front of the stack has a 19th century moulded architrave, and there is an internal brick chimney stack at the northern end. Inside, the house has stop chamfered joists and ceiling beam, with wind braces in roof.
