Summary

No 9 Church Street is a 17th-century house faced in red brick during the 18th or early 19th century, and plastered at the rear. The building has a black glazed pantile roof with gable ends, two storeys and an attic. There is a central pilastered doorcase with a panelled door and brick chimney stack. The north end wall has a ground floor twelve-pane fixed-light window.

"17th century. Red brick faced in 18th or early 19th century, plastered at rear. Black glazed pantile roof with gable ends. Two storeys and attic. Two widely spaced windows, sashes with glazing bars. Central pilastered doorcase with panelled door. Flat roofed dormers. Brick chimney stack."
