Summary

Bracondale School dates to the mid 19th century, and used to be a house. This three storey yellow brick building has a hipped slate roof and two brick chimneys, and there is a bronze plaque to the left of the main entrance.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now school. Mid 19th century. Yellow brick; hipped slate roof; two brick chimneys; three storeys; three first-floor windows, symmetrical. Panelled door with glazing bars to top part has plain fanlight in recessed round-headed gauged brick arch flanked by two fluted pilasters and two fluted columns supporting a hood with plain entablature and paired modillion cornice, windows have sashes with glazing bars under flat gauged brick arches throughout. Paired modillion cornice. Single-storey flat roofed extension with one door and one window to left. Bronze plaque to left of main entrance."
