Summary

This Christian Science church was built in 1934-5 by Herbert G Ibberson in English bond buff-coloured brick, with slate roofs with parapeted gable ends. The nave of the church has narrow aisles, and there is a readers' platform in the chancel at the west end with flanking readers' rooms and a gallery at the east end. The building is in the Arts and Craft style, with some modern pieces.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Christian Science church. 1934-5 by Herbert G Ibberson. English bond buff-coloured brick. Slate roofs with parapeted gable ends. Plan: Nave with narrow aisles, readers' platform in chancel at west (liturgical east) end with flanking readers' rooms and gallery at east end with stair and porch on south east corner."
