Summary

This house dates to the early 19th century with extensive additions. It is made from painted brick with a pantiled roof although the projecting wing to the right has a thatched roof. The windows are Victorian and of a Gothick style.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Early 19th century with extensive additions. Painted brick; pantiled roof; one yellow brick chimney and another roughcast stack. Projecting wing to right has thatched roof. Victorian Gothick style scattered fenestration with 16-pane sash window on ground floor under a thatched verandah. Two first-floor windows have three-lights with lancet heads. Bow-fronted wing has left side door in lean-to stair block…Maps indicate that…[this]…wing was added between 1873 and 1885."
