Summary

This house dates to around 1840. It is built from yellow brick with some rendered details. The steps up to the panelled door have a plain over-light, flanked by pilasters and two plain Tuscan columns supporting a large hood with plain entablature. A massive late 19th century extension has been added to the rear with mansard roof and dormer. Known originally as The Plantation, this house lies in gardens planned by Henry Trevor around 1856-70.
