Summary

Nos 7, 8 and 9 Shipps Close probably dates to the 17th or 18th century, and has a ground floor of painted brick and a plastered first floor. The two-storey building has a steeply-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends, and adjoins the rear of No 14 Old Market Place. There are two panelled doors in moulded doorcases, and a modern wedge-shaped flat-roofed dormer.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Probably 17th or 18th century. Ground floor painted brick, plastered first floor. Steeply-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends…Two storeys and attic. Three widely-spaced windows. Sashes with glazing bars, right hand ground floor, three-light wood mullion/transom casement. Two panelled doors in moulded doorcases. Wedge-shaped and modern flat roofed dormer."
