Summary

Wood Farmhouse is an early 17th-century brick building, probably with a timber-framed core. This two storey house has a roof of black glazed pantiles and has been constructed on a lobby-entrance plan.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Farmhouse. Early 17th century. Brick, probably with timber-framed core. Roof of black glazed pantiles. Lobby-entrance plan. Two storeys in three irregular bays. Double-leaf door left of centre within timber case, the hood on rounded brackets. One 19th-century three-light casement left and two to right, the latter separated by a second, subsidiary, door. Three three-light identical first-floor windows. Bell-based gabled roof. Ridge stack over door: rectangular plinth with four polygonal flues. Rear is rendered and has later outshuts. One gabled dormer in roof."
