Summary
Thatchet started life in the early 19th century as two semi-detached cottages, which have since been combined into one house. This two storey house is plastered with a thatched hipped roof, and may have been constructed from clay lump.

Thatchet, Norwich Road. Scole.
Early 19th century semi-detached cottages now one house. Plastered, clay lump? Thatched hipped roof. Central brick chimney stack. Two storeys. Two bays. First floor small two-light casements. Ground floor two large modern casements. Two plain doorways. Lean-to at rear.
