Summary

A cropmark of a ring ditch, possibly a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs. The ring ditch has a slightly sub-circular plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 11m. A cropmark of an elongated oval pit, measuring 3m by 1.5m is present in the centre of the ring ditch. It is possible that this is a grave associated with the round barrow. This ring ditch is situated close to the head of a shallow southwest facing dry valley at approximately 20m OD.
