Full Description
August 2006. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of ditches, banks and a pond of medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TM 3552 9251. A total of five sections of linear ditch earthwork are present around Manor Farm at Ellingham. One of these ditches leads into a circular pond. Three linear bank earthworks are also present to the north of the farm. It is likely that the linear ditch and bank earthworks relate to boundaries of medieval to post medieval date and are associated with Manor Farm.
