Summary

A cropmark of an incomplete possible ring ditch of probable Bronze Age date are visible on aerial photographs. Only the western half of the possible ring ditch is present as a cropmark. It appears to be circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 23m. It is located on a long island of higher ground in the Waveney valley at approximately 5m OD. A further ring ditch cropmark of a probable Bronze Age round barrow is present 620m away at the western end of the island.

A cropmark of an incomplete possible ring ditch of probable Bronze Age date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TM 3714 9198. Only the western half of the possible ring ditch is present as a cropmark. It appears to be circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 23m. It is likely that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It is located on a long island of higher ground in the Waveney valley at approximately 6m OD. A further ring ditch cropmark of a probable Bronze Age round barrow is present 620m away at the western end of the island.
