Map

September 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of undated ditches, possibly part of a trackway and field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 4074 9268. A curvilinear ditch cropmark is intermittently present for 290m on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment between TM 4057 9264 and TM 4085 9272. A second ditch cropmark is present parallel to the curvilinear ditch for 40m at its southwest end. This second ditch lies 5m to the northwest of the main ditch and together they could define part of a trackway. A trackway cropmark is present 620m to the northeast (NHER 45046) on a similar alignment and it is possible that these two cropmarks are linked. A linear ditch cropmark is present to the southeast of the curvilinear ditch. It is probable that this is a field boundary. None of these cropmarks correspond to the post medieval field pattern and their date is unknown.
