Full Description
May 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of an undated linear ditch are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TF 7249 3405. A single linear ditch cropmark is present on a roughly west to east alignment for 172m. The eastern end of the ditch aligns with the present parish boundary between Sedgeford, Snettisham and Fring. It is possible that this ditch represents a field, or other, boundary ditch of medieval date. The cropmark is cut by a modern field boundary.
J. Albone (NMP), 31 May 2006
