Summary

Cropmarks of two parallel ditches, possibly defining a trackway of late prehistoric date, are visible on aerial photographs. The eastern end of the ditches are crossed by Peddars Way Roman road (NHER 1289) indicating that they may be of pre-Roman origin. It is possible that the ditches define a trackway or boundary feature of Bronze Age to Iron Age date.
