Full Description
October 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TG 3031 1327. The ring ditch is sub-circular to sub-oval in plan with a 2m wide ditch and a maximum external diameter of 23m. It is possible that it is of Bronze Age and could relate to a round barrow. It is situated on a gentle northeast-facing slope at 24m OD. A second ring ditch cropmark is located 390m to the northeast (NHER 45116).
J. Albone (NMP) 09 October 2006.
