Summary

A cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure of possible Iron Age to Roman date is visible on aerial photographs. It is defined by a narrow ditch without any visible entrances and may relate to a settlement site. A similar enclosure cropmark is present 580m to the southwest (NHER 45122).

A cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure of possible Iron Age to Roman date is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is centred on TG 3070 1148. The enclosure has an asymmetrical D-shaped plan. It is defined by a narrow ditch without any visible entrances and has maximum external dimensions of 57m by 54m. It is likely that this enclosure is of Iron Age to Roman date and may relate to a settlement of that period. A similar enclosure cropmark is present 580m to the southwest (NHER 45122).
