Cropmarks of a rectangular enclosure and undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3296 1009. A cropmark of a rectangular enclosure with rounded corners is present on a southwest to northeast axis. It is defined by a narrow ditch and has external dimensions of 74m by 62m. Part of the southeast corner of the enclosure is not visible as a cropmark. A linear ditch cropmark appears to extend to the south-southeast from the southern corner of the enclosure. However, this may be part of the same ditch that crosses the western edge of the enclosure further to the northwest and also forms a T-junction with another ditch cropmark. A third ditch cropmark is present on a similar alignment to the northwest of the enclosure. Short sections of ditch cropmark are also present on roughly north to south alignments that do not have any obvious relationship to the enclosure. The alignments of these enclosure and ditch cropmarks do not conform to the post medieval field pattern and their date is unknown.
