Full Description
October 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a possible rectilinear enclosure of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3425 1227. The enclosure is only partly visible but appears to have a rectilinear plan. It lies on a north to south axis and is defined by ditches of up to 5m in width. The internal dimensions of the possible enclosure are at least 53m by 35m. It overlaps cropmarks of possible medieval to early post medieval field boundaries (NHER 45147). However, its date and relationship to the other cropmarks is unknown.
J. Albone (NMP), 16 October 2006.
