Map

October 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a rectilinear enclosure of possible post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TM 3821 9171. The enclosure is roughly trapezoidal in plan and measures 69m by 47m internally. Only three sides of the enclosure are visible as cropmarks, with the fourth side possibly defined by an extant field boundary ditch. Continuation of the ditch cropmarks at the northern corner of the enclosure indicated that it formed part of a more extensive group of enclosures or fields. It lies on a northwest to southeast alignment, similar to that of the modern field pattern and is probably of post medieval date.
