1925 to 1926. South-southwest of Grange Farm, immediately south of Drove Road.
Pot 26cm (10 1/4") high with ?cremation and spindle whorl, not associated ?late 1st to early 2nd century.

A.J. Lawson (NAU) draws attention to a 'square' cropmark just south of this site within site NHER 5316 at 6985 9808 (see plan of cropmarks in file for NHER 5316), the implication being that this is a square Roman barrow and that the
findspot is wrongly plotted by Ordnance Survey. However the cropmark as drawn on the plan is oblong rather than square and not like a Roman barrow.
