Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Linear cropmarks of unknown date are visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). A group of three parallel linear features, varying in length from 140-180m and between 1-2m wide. These linears run from TF 9534 4102 to TF 9535 4084, TF 9538 4109 to TF 9539 4084 and TF 9547 4093 to TF 9540 4079. It is possible that these represent field boundaries, which are part of an undated earlier system than the existing post medieval layout.
S. Massey (NMP), 16 October 2002.
