Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of an oval pit are visible on aerial photographs on saltmarsh (S1). The pit measures 19m long and varies in width from 4m to 7m. This feature is probably post medieval, although its purpose is not clear. It may relate to the fishing or oyster industries.
S. Massey (NMP), 1 November 2002.
