Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Two large angular and oblong cropmark features are visible on NMR oblique aerial photographs from 2002 (S1–2). The archaeological nature of these two cropmarks is not immediately obvious and it is possible that they are related to relatively recent agricultural activity in the field. The clearest of the two features is centred on TF 9722 4203 and measures 24m by 16m. This appears to be a relatively angular, almost rectangular cut feature, although it seems to be too large to be a pit. Another slightly less regular cut feature is located at TF 9712 4210 and measures 25m by 17m.
S. Massey (NMP), 10 February 2003.
