A possible World War Two pillbox is visible on 1945 RAF aerial photographs (S1). It is located at TF 9906 4419 and measures 4m square and is likely to be a pillbox or similar defensive structure. It is located on a raised ground overlooking the Stiffkey salt marshes and approach to Blakeney harbour.
