December 2006. Watching brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping for Stoke Ferry to Downham Market water pipeline. From context 1.
The results of the watching brief were entirely negative. However, much of the stripping of topsoil took place without archaeological supervision, which may have contributed to the negative outcome.
